EDITH M. PATTON, 87

HARTFORD -- Services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, Hartford, for Edith M. Patton, 87, of Orange Village Care Center, Masury, formerly of Hartford, who died Wednesday night in Sharon Regional Health System hospital.
Mrs. Patton was born May 3, 1913, in Adeno, Ohio, a daughter of Otis and Leora Hagan Hendershot.
She graduated in 1932 from Cadiz High School and retired in 1979 as dormitory director after nine years at Warren Wilson College in Ashville, N.C. She previously worked at McKelvey's, Richman Bros. and Strouss-Hirshberg, all in Youngstown.
She leaves a daughter, Linda Miyashita of Tokyo, Japan; three sisters, Dorothy Giffen and Margaret Doutt, both of Waverly, Ohio, and Betty Smith of Nashville, Tenn.; and a grandson.
A sister, Mildred Mae Sutherland, is deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
