WALLACE T. RHODES, 96
ROGERS -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana, for Wallace T. Rhodes, 96, of 49791 Carmel Achor Road, who died Saturday afternoon in Essex I of Salem after a brief illness.
Mr. Rhodes was born Dec. 18, 1904, in Ripley, W.Va., a son of Louis I. and Victoria Allen Rhodes, and lived in this area most of his life.
He was a welder at NRM in Columbiana for many years and retired in 1971. He was a charter member of the Herman Church, Ripley, W.Va.
His wife, the former Viola Green, whom he married May 21, 1932, died Oct. 1, 1975.
He leaves two daughters, Shirley Browne of Salem and Doris Rudibaugh of West Chester, Pa.; a son, Glenn C. of Negley; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Several brothers and sisters are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
