MARY LOUISE MAHONE, 71

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in New Bethel Baptist Church for Mary Louise Mahone, 71, of 468 W. Hilda Ave., who died Friday morning in Select Specialty Hospital, St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Mahone was born Aug. 3, 1929, in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a daughter of Charles and Rebie Perkins Brown.
She was a laundry aide for Assumption Village and retired in 1989. She was a member of the church and its pastor's aid and a former member of its adult chorus, and a member of the NAACP.
Besides her husband, Arthur L., whom she married Jan. 16, 1951, she leaves a daughter, Andrea of Youngstown; a brother, Charles Brown of Montgomery, Ala.; and four sisters, Dorothy Esclante of Cleveland, Marie A. Gray of Brooklyn, N.Y., Katie Brown Heard of Akron and Jean Springs of Youngstown.
A sister, Augustine McElrath, and a brother, Clyde Brown, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home.
