MARY J. MARTIN, 86

GIRARD -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony Church, Youngstown, for Mary J. Martin, 86, of 242 S. Davis St., who died Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Miss Martin was born Aug. 28, 1914, in Youngstown, a daughter of John Sr. and Rose Spartano Martin.
She was a receptionist for Dr. Merle M. Szucs for 30 years. She previously was a clerk for G.M. McKelvey Co.
She was a graduate of Girard High School and attended Youngstown College Secretarial School and Penn-Ohio Business College. She was a member of the church and its Senior citizens, Ohio State Medical Assistants Society and Jewish Community Health and Adult clubs. She was recognized by the Red Cross Press during World War II for her knitting.
She leaves three brothers, John and Frank, both of Girard, and James of Youngstown; and two sisters, Phyllis R. Martin and Concetta A. Donaldson, both of Girard.
Two brothers, Anthony and Joseph, are deceased.
