YOUNGSTOWN --Jerome Williams, president of Y-Town Realty Inc., has completed auctioneering and auction sales management training at the Missouri Auction School in Morrilton, Arizona. A lifelong Youngstown resident, Williams has 16 years' experience in real estate sales and is president of the Youngstown-Warren Association of Real Estate Brokers.
NEW CASTLE -- Thomas Masters, senior vice president in Parker/Hunter Inc.'s New Castle office, graduated last month from the Securities Industry Institute, an executive development program produced by the Securities Industry Association in cooperation with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Masters, a New Castle resident, joined the company in 1985.
CANFIELD -- G. Byron Abrigg, a registered representative at the Canfield office of Edward Jones Investments, has earned membership in PLANCO's 2000 Captain's Club, open only to representatives who produce sales of $1 million or more in a calendar year. PLANCO is a wholesaler of financial products and a subsidiary of Hartford Life and Accident Life Insurance.
AUSTINTOWN -- Two program managers at Daystar Counseling Service passed state examinations and have been licensed by the state of Ohio as professional counselors. Harvey Hess is licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor. He is also a state-licensed social worker and has a master's degree in education. Jacqueline Chorey has a master's degree in counseling from Malone College and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
BOARDMAN -- Don Humphries, an agent for Allianz Life Insurance based in Boardman, has qualified for the Allianz Life Platinium Club, an honor held by three-tenths of 1 percent of the Minnesota company's agents. The club recognizes agents who reach high goals for fixed annuity and life policy sales.
