CLARENCE N. HARNER, 90 Was a teacher in Brookfield Schools



WARREN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McFarland & amp; Son Funeral Home for Clarence N. Harner, 90, of 180 Country Club N.E., who died Friday afternoon in Autumn Hills Care Center.
Mr. Harner was born Feb. 18, 1911, in Pennsylvania, a son of William N. and Sadie Roberts Harner, and came to the area in 1949.
He taught English and social science in Brookfield School District before retiring in 1981.
He was a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in Sharon, where he was clerk of session for many years and a member of its Golden Circle. He was also a member of Warren Optimist Club, Trumbull County Retired Teachers and Brookfield Federation of Teachers.
He leaves two daughters, Anita Deak of Warren, with whom he made his home, and Wina Reese of Lexington, Ohio; a sister, Anita H. Cunningham of Slippery Rock, Pa.; and caregiver, Victoria Ramsey of Warren.
Two sisters, Lois Harner and Helen Hughes, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and for one hour before the services Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the church.
