RALPH CAMPBELL, 80
YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church for Ralph Campbell, 80, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Youngstown, who died of myelodysplasia March 23 in Albuquerque.
Mr. Campbell was born Feb. 18, 1921, in Youngstown, a son of James A. and Harriett Fleming Campbell. He moved to Albuquerque in 1949.
He was a 1939 graduate of East High School and was a World War II Marine veteran.
He retired from Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque in 1981 and enjoyed golfing.
Besides his wife, the former Matilda Chiody, he leaves two sons, Jeffrey of Albuquerque and Gary of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Margaret Hacker of Pittsburgh, Harriet Yank of Bethesda, Md., and Kathleen FitzPatrick of Youngstown; and seven grandchildren. A sister, Winifred Harper, and a brother, James S., are deceased.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by French Mortuary, Albuquerque.
