GUY E. WITHROW JR., 75
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at McGonigle Memorial Home here for Guy E. Withrow Jr., 75, of 1025 Rose Ave., who died Friday afternoon in St. Francis Hospital.
Mr. Withrow was born July 24, 1925, in Ellwood City, a son of Guy Sr. and Mary Agnew Withrow. He worked as a dispatcher for Norwalk Truck Lines.
He was a graduate of Farmington High School. He served as a radio operator in the Navy during World War II in the invasion of Normandy and in Europe and the Pacific.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church and of VFW Post 315.
Besides his wife, the former Anna Mae Murray, whom he married in June 1946, he leaves four sons, Stephen of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jeffrey, Guy III and Joseph, all of New Castle; two daughters, Mary Ann Withrow and Michelle Reynolds, both of New Castle; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
