EVELYN C. SLEYZAK, 66

CORTLAND -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Shafer-Winans & amp; Lamer Funeral Home for Evelyn C. Sleyzak, 66, of 3641 Durst-Clagg Road, who died Friday morning at home after a long illness.
Mrs. Sleyzak was born Aug. 3, 1934, in Akron, a daughter of Edward and Lillie Oblisk Sayfoot. She worked for Lordstown Rubber for 14 years, and retired in 1987.
Her husband, John, whom she married July 6, 1976, died Nov. 5, 2000.
Besides her mother, Lillie Holt of Warren, she leaves three daughters, Pat Como in Virginia, Jean Cameron of Niles and Robin Markle of Warren; two sons, Michael Como of Painesville and Keith Como of Orlando, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Phoebe Cates and Mary Ann Smith, and two stepsons, Edward and Timothy Sleyzak, all in Florida; two sisters, Lillie Easterday in Florida and Elizabeth Stoifa of Howland; two brothers, Clarence Litton of Warren and Warren Sayfoot in Florida; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
