XYoungstown Association of Life Underwriters will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St., Youngstown. Brian R. Ellis, a tax attorney with the Internal Revenue Service, will speak on "Obligations and Responsibilities at the Time of Death." He is assigned to the IRS office in Independence. XArmy and Navy Auxiliary 29 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the home of Nancy Weimer. An official visit by Department of Ohio officers is planned. Visitors will be Donna Haught, president, and Margie Bucci and Vicki Miller.
XStruthers K. of C. Ladies will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the hall. Easter pins will be made, and hostesses will be Pat Waller and Nancy Burns.

XAustintown II Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at the home of Margaret Kollmorgan who will conduct a workshop on spring decorations. Hostesses will be Annette McCarthy and Marge Ryals.
XChampion Athletic Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the high school cafeteria.
XTrumbull County Junior Fair Livestock Sale Committee will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the fairground office.
XTrumbull County Young Agriculturists Council will meet at 1 p.m. Friday at Vernon's Cafe in Niles. Hosts will be Robert and Genie Ulp.
XWest Farmington Pythian Sisters Liberty Temple 185 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in K of P Hall.
XGirard Junior Women will meet at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Jimmy Chieffo's, 3860 Youngstown Road, S. E., Warren. Nomination of officers will be held, and reservations are due by Sunday.

POLITICAL CLUBS
XWestern Reserve Republican Women will hold a continental breakfast at 9:30 p.m. Friday with Hazel Bieber presiding. Serving on the hostess committee with Mary Lenz and Frances Johnson. An update on local schools will be given by Nancy Hull.
RELIGIOUS CLUBS
XBoardman United Methodist Women will hold a spring luncheon at noon April 19 at fellowship hall. The menu will be meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, tossed salad, bread and butter and dessert. The cost is $6. Reservations are required and must be paid by Friday. Send check to Bonnie Babyak, 6809 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44512. Those not attending the luncheon also must call the church office to reserve a seat.
XJunior Seton Club will meet at noon Thursday at the Ursuline Motherhouse on Shields Road. There will be a luncheon, and the speaker will be Janette Loew on the library. Hostesses will be Peg Cooney (chairwoman), Marie Hagan and Ann O'Horo.
XSt. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the parish house.
XYoungstown Diocesan Council of the National Council of Catholic Women will hold a biennial convention May 8 and 9 at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, 4375 Metro Circle, North Canton. The agenda includes a dinner, installation of officers and entertainment on May 8 and a business meeting followed by an eucharistic liturgy at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 3430 St. Michael Drive, N.W., Canton, displays for viewing and a presentation on "Sacred Manuscripts from Medieval and Renaissance Times" on May 9. Room reservations are to be made to the hotel by April 16. Convention reservations are $25 a day and $45 for two days and can be made with Martha Howell, 527 Grosvenor Drive N.W., Massillon, Ohio 44647, until April 27.

XDowntown Kiwanis will meet at 7:30 a.m. Friday for a Good Friday breakfast and prayer meeting at the Y.M.C.A.
SINGLES

SOCIETIES
XCortland-Bazetta Historical Society will hold a program on genealogy at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Opera House, Cortland. Two members of the Church of Latter Day Saints will be the presenters.
XMahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. April 16 at Four Mile Run Christian Church, 701 N. Four Mile Run Road, Austintown. The church is handicap accessible. The Computer Interest Group will meet before the meeting at 6:30.
SUPPORT GROUPS
XAlzheimer's Family Support Groups will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Easter Seal Day Center, 5200 Market St., Boardman, and at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Beeghly Medical Park, 6505 Market St., Boardman. XThe Fred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. Hostesses will be Annette Soccorsy and Dorothy Smith. "Caring and Sharing" will be the theme, and the group will divide into those with Parkinson's and those who are caregivers.
