ANNA J. LAPROCINA, 90
WARREN -- Services will be at Monday at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church for Anna J. Laprocina, 90, of 1104 Belvedere S.E., who died of cancer Wednesday evening at home.
Mrs. Laprocina was born Feb. 8, 1911, in Amsbury, Pa., a daughter of Andrew and Catherine Maytka Kochera.
She retired from housekeeping at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital Environmental Services.
He was a member of the church and its Altar & amp; Rosary Society, the Camillus Association, SCOPE of Warren, Scope Golden Years and director of Scope Rhythm Band. She was chosen queen and her husband, king of Trumbull County Senior Citizens in 1978 and 1980 and she was chosen Outstanding Senior of Warren Scope and received a medal in 1993. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, dancing and playing cards.
Her husband, Nick S., whom she married April 18, 1931, died Feb. 13, 1995.
She leaves a son, Frank N. of Champion; three daughters, Joan L. Bacon of Warren, Phyllis Lohr of Navarre, and Lee A. Brannan of Rogers, Ark.; Michael Kochera of Hagerstown, Md.; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, George, John and Andrew Kochera; and three sisters, Helen Zack, Elizabeth Kochera and Marie Harcarik, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Trumbull County, 219 N. River Road, Warren 44483.
