TOM H. MIX, 68

DEERFIELD -- Services were March 23 at Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna, for Tom H. Mix, 68, of 1616 Notman Road, who died March 18 in Robinson Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.
Mr. Mix was born May 2, 1932, in Deerfield, a son of Walter A. and Mary P. Girard Mix. He retired as a welder for YSD Industries in Youngstown. He was a member of Deerfield American Legion Post 713 and Ravenna VFW Post 1055. He was an Air Force veteran.
Among others, he leaves his wife, the former Barbara Barrett, to whom he was married for 47 years; three brothers, Albert and Wilbur, both of Deerfield, and Delbert of Berlin Center; a sister, Arlene Lopez of Downey, Calif.
A sister, Wilda Oswalt, is deceased.
Contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 516 Carew St. , Springfield, Mass.
