MILDRED TRAVIS, 92

COLUMBIANA -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home, Youngstown, for Mildred Travis, 92, of 41581 state Route 14, formerly of Shields Road, Boardman, who died early Thursday at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.
Mrs. Travis was born Aug. 13, 1908, in Youngstown, a daughter of Homer L. and Mary Ellen Ryan Ackerman. She was a homemaker and a member of Western Reserve United Methodist Church and its Naomi Circle.
Her husband, Elmer, whom she married Dec. 30, 1925, died in 1977.
She leaves a son, Lester L. of Columbiana; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A sister, Florence Mae Ruckman, and a great-grandchild, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before services at the funeral home.
