ERNESTINE PATRICIA PHILLIPS-FEARS, 50



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services were to be at noon today in New Bethel Baptist Church for Ernestine Patricia Phillips-Fears, 50, of 102 N. Maryland Ave., who was found dead Saturday afternoon at Cantwell Avenue and Carson Street. The Mahoning County coroner's office is investigating.
Ms. Phillips-Fears was born Sept. 7, 1950, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of Ernest D. and Marion Greer McLeod, and came to the area in 1958.
She graduated in 1968 from East High School and had attended Harding Business Institute. She was an assembler at General Motors in Lordstown since 1973 and was a member of the church.
Besides her mother of Broadview, Ill., she leaves two sons, Cobie L. Phillips and Robert E. Lacy, both of Youngstown; a daughter, Jazzlynn B. Fears of Youngstown; two sisters, Marvina F. McLeod of Bellwood, Ill., and Joyce A. McField of Broadview, Ill.; and a grandchild.
Friends may call for one hour before the service in the church. Arrangements are by Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home.
