Meet Voinovich's rep
YOUNGSTOWN -- Heather Marr, district representative for U.S. Sen. George V. Voinovich, will have office hours from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Voinovich Government Center conference room on Federal Plaza West. Residents can meet with Marr to discuss federal legislation or to seek assistance with federal agency casework issues.
Voter registration
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The League of Women Voters of Mercer County will register voters from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Shenango Valley Mall. The last day to register, change party affiliation or change place of residence in time to vote in the May 15 Pennsylvania primary is April 16. Voters have until May 8 to apply to the county for an absentee ballot.
