LEONA T. BLUE, 96

NILES -- Services will be at 8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge, for Leona T. Blue, 96, of Ridgecrest Care Center, who died Sunday in the center.
Mrs. Blue was born Nov. 5, 1904, in Delaware, Ohio, a daughter of Charles and Minnie Thomas Baumgartner. She moved to Niles in 1991 after living in Bradenton, Fla., for 20 years.
She was a homemaker. She was a 60-year member of John Knox United Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of Eastern Star Miriam Chapter 278.
Her husband, Clay E., died April 9, 1972.
She leaves a son, John N. Sr. of Boardman; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
A sister, Dorothy Swegan Jennette; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the service.
