FLORENCE D. BERARDO, 91

WARREN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Church for Florence D. Berardo, 91, of 750 Kenmore Ave. N.E., who died Wednesday in St. Joseph Health Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Berardo was born Feb. 8, 1910, in Hermany No. 2, Pa., a daughter of Anthony and Ida DeBatista Simoni.
She had been a cook for the Trumbull County Jail for 20 years before retiring in 1975, and was a member of the church.
Her husband, Lee M., whom she married Aug. 16, 1928, died Aug. 10, 1954.
She leaves two sons, Ralph of Warren and Edward of Cortland; four daughters, Cecile Berardo, Margaret Gelum and Marie Marchese, all of Warren, and Patricia Berardo of Lake Station, Ind.; four sisters, Angeline Stanislaw, Fannie Simoni, Blanche Bumpus and Ida Ermi, all of Warren; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Betty Lee Berardo; two brothers, Arthur and Larry Simoni; and a sister, Emma DeNunzio, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Roberts-Clark Memorial Home.
Contributions may be made to the church restoration fund.
