HUBBARD -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home, Youngstown, for Earnest John Cornwell Jr., 46, of 1622 Garman Road, Akron, formerly of Jacobs Road here, who died of cancer Monday in the Hospice Care Center, Akron.
Mr. Cornwell was born Oct. 5, 1954, in Youngstown, a son of Earnest Sr. and Mattie Martin Cornwell, and moved to Akron in 1997. He had worked at various Wal-Mart stores.
He was a 1973 graduate of Hubbard High School. He was a former member of Alpha & amp; Omega First Baptist Church, Youngstown.
He leaves a son, Army Sgt. Earnest III stationed in Korea.; a daughter, Navy Seaman 1st Class Dawn Cornwell of Norfolk, Va.; a sister, CharoletteBurton of Akron; and a granddaughter.
His parents are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
