WILMA J. YOUNG, 60 Was owner of D & amp;B Jewelers for 29 years
BERLIN CENTER -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Berlin Center United Methodist Church for Wilma J. Young, 60, of 15848 Shillings Road, who died of peritoneal cancer Monday at home.
Mrs. Young was born July 15, 1940, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of William and Edna Chrislip Briggs, and came to the area in 1956.
She owned D & amp;B Jewelers in Newton Falls and Diamond for 29 years and worked for Ashley Place Nursing Home for seven years. She attended the church.
Besides her husband, Robert C., whom she married April 27, 1975, she leaves a son, William R. of Berlin Center; a daughter, Cindy A. Young of Jersey City, N.J.; a sister, Cindy Burke of Austintown; and a brother, William Briggs of Appomattox, Va.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown, and for a half-hour before the service Thursday in the church. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Valley.
