NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ed & amp; Don DeCarbo Mill Street Funeral Home for Rose G. Patton, 89, of 1021 Old Princeton Road, formerly of Delaware Avenue, who died Tuesday in Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Patton was born July 20, 1911, in Italy, a daughter of Louis and Theresa Porco Nardi. She worked in the classified advertising department of New Castle News for 25 years.
She was a member of Primetimers, New Castle Senior Citizens Center and Amity Club.
Her husband, Paul O., died Oct. 10, 1966.
She leaves three sons, Paul O. Jr. and Roland L., both of New Castle, and Gerald F. of Salem; a brother, Victor Gillest of New Castle; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her stepfather, Frank Gillest, a sister, Mary Gillest, a stepsister, Elvira Micco, and two stepbrothers, Ernie and Edward Gillest, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before services at the funeral home.
