GLADYS ALICE KOZAR, 66
SALEM -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Paul Church here for Gladys Alice Kozar, 66, of 12205 Goshen Road, who died, apparently of a heart attack, Monday evening in Salem Community Hospital after becoming ill at home.
Mrs. Kozar was born Feb. 5, 1935, in Campbell, a daughter of Antonio and Carmel Rich Carano.
She was a lab technician for Warren General Hospital and was a homemaker. She was a member of the church and its Loyal Christian Benefit Association, a graduate of Campbell Memorial High school, and had attended Youngstown College.
Besides her husband, George, whom she married Sept. 23, 1967, she leaves a son, John of Hudson; two sisters, Rosemary Kluth of Wheeling, W.Va., and Donna Hartranft of Campbell; a brother, Dr. Joseph Carano of Vienna; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Stark Memorial Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited by the LCBA at 6:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to Catholic Charities in care of the church, 157 Ohio Ave., Salem 44460.
