THOMAS HUNSTON Jr., 93

EAST PALESTINE -- Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Burns Memorial Chapel in Glenview Cemetery here, for Thomas Hunston Jr., 93, of Collingwood Rehabilitation Center, Gaithersburg, Md., formerly of East Palestine, who died Saturday at the center after a short illness.
Mr. Hunston was born July 20, 1907, in East Palestine, a son of Thomas and Sarah Parker Hunston Sr. He worked for various hospitals as an administrator and retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ravenna, in 1968.
He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and served in the Army during World War II.
His wife, the former Eva Batman, whom he married in 1940, died April 17, 1963.
He leaves a son, Donald of Gaithersburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Six sisters and four brothers are deceased.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home here.
