STEFANIA STELLMAR, 92



CAMPBELL -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wasko Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Provider Church for Stefania Stellmar, 92, of 7739 W. Parkside Drive, Boardman, formerly of Campbell, who died early Sunday in Austinwoods Nursing Center, Austintown.
Mrs. Stellmar was born Jan. 19, 1909, in Poland, Europe, a daughter of Andrew and Victoria Przman Gwizdale, and came to this country in 1925.
A homemaker, she was a member of the church and its Altar & amp; Rosary Society and Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, and was one of its original pirogi workers. She also was a member of the Polish National Alliance 965.
Her husband, Alex, whom she married June 29, 1927, died Dec. 18, 1978.
She leaves a son, Frank A. of Campbell; three daughters, Betty Simchick of Youngstown, Margaret Janosik of Boardman, with whom she made her home, and Patricia Lavernuick of Campbell; three brothers, Edward Gwizdale of Coitsville, John Gwizdale of Austintown and Robert Gwizdale of Boardman; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A son, James S.; two brothers, Albert and Theodore Gwizdale; and a sister, Stella Wasylychyn, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
