RALPH L. MENOLD, 85

GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Madasz Funeral Home in Brookfield for Ralph L. Menold, 85, of 2162 Birchcrest Blvd., Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Greenville, who died Monday morning in Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
Mr. Menold was born Aug. 10, 1915, in Greenville, a son of Ralph and Emma Triechman Menold.
He graduated from Greenville High School and retired in 1977 after 33 years as a coilwinder at Westinghouse Electric's Transformer Division in Sharon.
He was a member of St. Clement's Episcopal Church and Moose Lodge 276, both in Greenville, and was a charter member of Fraternal Order of Elks 2606 in Punta Gorda, Fla.
His first wife, the former Frances Bear, is deceased.
He leaves his wife, the former Gladys Lunn, whom he married Nov. 2, 1968; a stepson, Laird Sheldon of Sharpsville; a daughter, Lois Pappa of Youngstown; a sister, Ella May Menold of Greenville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A brother, Frederick, and four sisters, Margaret Titus, Adrienne Wasser, Viola Watt and Dorothy Dilijonas, are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
