YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Anstrom-Velker Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Hungary Church for Helen C. Hershey, 84, of 109 Bouquet Ave., who died early Sunday in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Hershey was born Feb. 11, 1917, in Youngstown, a daughter of David and Myrtle Jones Reese, and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from South High School, was a homemaker and attended the church.
Besides her husband, William P. Jr., whom she married Aug. 8, 1936, she leaves a daughter, Barbara Bisker of Cornersburg; a son, Paul of Boardman; three sisters, Rita Ross, Mary Langley and Margaret Baytos, all of Boardman; and two granddaughters.
A sister, Betty Roberts, and a grandson are deceased.
Friend may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
