CHRISTINE M. MINOTTI, 81 Was co-owner of Cafe 83 for 40 years
HOWLAND -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Peter Rossi & amp; Son Memorial Chapel and 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church for Christine M. Minotti, 81, of 7802 Brookwood N.E., who died Saturday evening in Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.
Mrs. Minotti, known as "Dimps," was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Niles, a daughter of George and Euphemia Stirling Murray, and moved to Warren in 1941.
She was co-owner of Cafe 83 on North River Road for 40 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member and former president of the Trumbull County Tavern Association and was also a member of the church and the 83rd Army Division's Women's Auxiliary.
Her husband, Joseph F. Sr., whom she married May 31, 1941, died March 19, 1974.
She leaves a son, Joseph F. Jr. of Miami, Fla.; three daughters, Laura Minotti of Cortland, Patricia McBride of Warren and Christina Burton of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, George Murray of Girard; four sisters, Margaret Ainsworth of Canfield, Katherine Wallace of Girard and Dorothy Thompson and May Sunderman, both of Howland; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northeast Ohio.
