WARREN YWCA offers classes on variety of subjects



WARREN -- The YWCA at 375 N. Park Ave. will soon begin offering lectures and classes covering topics including golf and sign language.
Registration is being accepted for an American Sign Language class to be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays between April 16 and May 21.
Nonmember rates are available for the introductory class.
The public is invited to a free lecture by the Marital Rights Task Force from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the YWCA. The program is for anyone with questions about divorce, alimony or legal rights.
A two-part lecture on consumer protection will be April 11. The first part, about home solicitations, telemarketing scams and home improvements, is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
The second part is from 6 to 7 p.m. and will address business opportunities and working from home.
Paul Tessler, a PGA professional at Westgate Golf Center, will offer golf lessons for adults.
Instruction materials and golf clubs will be provided if needed. Three class times will be made available.
