WARREN -- Services will be at 7 p.m. today at Roberts-Clark Memorial Home for Rose Ugrin, 94, of 118 Masters Court, who died Saturday morning in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Ugrin was born Dec. 21, 1906, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of John and Mary Behun Checker, and lived in Warren most of her life. She was a member of Niles Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Her husband, John, whom she married May 12, 1928, died March 27, 1975.
She leaves a daughter, Karin Wolfe of Newton Falls; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Ugrin, with whom she made her home for 19 years; a brother, Charles Checker of Monroe, Mich.; a grandson, Jay Ugrin of Newton Falls; and three great-grandchildren.
A son, Ted; two brothers, Alex and John Checker; two sisters, Helen Porter and Maria Sarrach; and a grandson are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
