RONALD GENE COWAN, 61

NEWTON FALLS -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Borowski Memorial Home for Ronald Gene Cowan, 61, of 727 state Route 534 S.W., who died Sunday morning in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital of a heart ailment.
Mr. Cowan was born April 29, 1939, in Fayetteville, Tenn., a son of Gene H. and Tina Mae Towry Cowan, and moved to this area in 1954.
He graduated in 1957 from Windham High School, served in the Army and was a retired self-employed truck driver.
He leaves his wife, the former Barbara West, whom he married Sept. 3, 1982; a son, Gregory G. Cowan of Hiram; two stepsons, Scott Kernen of Newton Falls and Jeffrey Kernen of Kent; a sister, Joyce Robinson of Fayetteville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
