New clinics
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Visiting Nurses Association of the Greater Youngstown Area will add three clinics -- at McGuffey, International and Goodwill Towers -- with a $5,000 grant from the Ruth H. Beecher Charitable Trust. Blood pressure screening and medical assessments will be offered. The site nurse also will instruct senior clients on diet and medication matters.
Will Rogers tribute
HUBBARD -- Lance Brown will present his one-man show, "A Tribute to Will Rogers," at Hubbard Public Library at 7 p.m. April 8. Admission is free, but reservations are required. Call (330) 534-3512.
Brown has done extensive research on Rogers and authored the book, "On the Road with Will Rogers." He has performed his tribute for 13 years.
Forget the fines
KINSMAN -- If you still have something you should have returned to the Kinsman Free Public Library, this is the week to do so. The library won't be charging fines, in honor of National Library week.
