NETTIE E. CARSON, 94

CANFIELD -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield, for Nettie E. Carson, 94, formerly of Barbcliff Drive, who died Friday evening in Ron Joy Nursing Home following a long illness.
Mrs. Carson was born March 8, 1907, in Youngstown, a daughter of Antonio and Rosa Trolio Fortunato, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a bookkeeper for the Stambaugh-Thompson Co. for 15 years and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Her husband, Edward J., whom she married Sept. 2, 1929, died July 2, 1976.
She leaves a daughter, Barbara Fisher of Canfield; a sister, Helen Glaros of Youngstown; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Three sisters, Rose, Mary and Cathryn Fortnat; and three brothers, Frank, Nick and John Fortnat, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services at the funeral home.
