MARY ELIZABETH EDWARDS MCMILLEN, 80



WARREN -- There are no services or calling hours for Mary Elizabeth Edwards McMillen, 80, of 1065 Kenmore Ave. S.E., who died early Saturday at her home.
Mrs. McMillen was born Nov. 23, 1920, in Etowah, Tenn., a daughter of William M. and Mary Magdeline Reece Edwards, and lived in this area since 1944, coming from Kentucky. She was employed as a personnel representative for Mary Mac Employment Agency for several years, and had been a self-employed antique dealer.
She was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving as a radio operator, and taught Morse Code. A member of Cortland United Methodist Church, she enjoyed gardening, flowers, and attending garage sales.
Her husband, Ivan H., whom she married May 31, 1960 died Dec. 16, 1975.
She leaves a daughter, Betty Bates of Cortland; a son, Thomas Cooper of Los Altos, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Shirley Miller of Kinsman; a sister, Nell Willis of Rockwood, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Jill Cooper-Menichini, and a stepson, William McMillen, are deceased.
Arrangements are by Shafer-Winans & amp; Lamer Funeral Home, Cortland.
In lieu of flowers, her children request that friends and family do a kind deed in their mother's memory.
