HARRY E. MILHOAN, 73
SALEM -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home for Harry E. Milhoan, 73, of 31164 Carey Road, who died Thursday at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he was a patient for one month.
Mr. Milhoan was born Dec. 31, 1927, in Vienna, W.Va., a son of Ed and Bicle V. Walls Milhoan, coming to Salem in the 1950s.
He retired in 1981 after 14 years as a welder with E.W. Bliss Co., and had been a welder/truck driver for 16 years for Alliance Machine. He was a member of United Steelworkers of America union.
Besides his wife, the former Maggie L. White, whom he married Dec. 6, 1947, he leaves five daughters, Helen Eakin of Alliance, Brenda Phillips, Ruth Hendricks, and Janet Gardner, all of Salem, and Ruby Johnson of Canton; three sons, Eugene of Salem, Howard of Salineville, and Roger of Lisbon; three brothers, Clifford of Cambridge, Ohio, Earl of Reedy, W.Va., and French of Akron; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Six brothers, Clarence, Brooks, Junior, Roy, Garcy, and Russell L.; and a sister, Virgie Rhodes, are deceased.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
