The burglary of a restaurant is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Burglary and theft.Location: 10 W. State St., Sharon.Details: Police said someone used a hammer to break a window in a door to get into Donna's Diner at 10 W. State St. on Monday night or early Tuesday. The intruder stole the night deposit as well as money set aside for the morning start-up of the business, and also took a security videotape from a VCR.Contact: Call Crime Solvers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at (724) 347-HELP. Callers do not have to give their names.Reward: Crime Solvers, a nonprofit organization, offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in Mercer County.
