CHARLOTTE D'ARCY ZEDAKER JACOB, 95
BOARDMAN -- Private memorial services will be later for Charlotte D'Arcy Zedaker Jacob, 95, of RonJoy Nursing Home, formerly of Tudor Lane, who died late Tuesday at the home.
Mrs. Jacob was born March 21, 1906, in Poland, a daughter of John C. and Madeline McClure Zedaker, moving to Boardman in 1946 from Poland. She was instrumental in the development of the Zedaker Farm Property in the Boardman-Poland area.
A graduate of The Rayen School, she was a homemaker, and had worked as a bookkeeper for Mahoning National Bank in its downtown office.
She was a life member of Poland Presbyterian Church, where she participated in its choir and bible study class. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher.
Her husband, Karl, whom she married in 1937, died April 10, 1985.
Among others, she leaves two sisters, Elizabeth Kridler of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Louise McCleary of Naples, Fla.
Two sisters, Katherine and Martha Zedaker; and two brothers, Jack and Robert Zedaker, are deceased.
Contributions may be made to the church building fund at 2 Poland Manor, Poland 44514.
Arrangements are by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
