Perk up your taste buds at Youngstown's first craft beer + gourmet popcorn pairing event! Karma Korn Poppery and Noble Creature Cask House have worked together to pair gourmet popcorn flavors created by local Karma Korn Poppery in Girard, Ohio, with the unique beers crafted at Noble Creature's new brewery in Youngstown. Pairings such as Elephant Ear popcorn + Wick Perk Coffee Stout and Pizza popcorn + Youngstonian Lager will be on tap, plus much more! Purchase of a $20 ticket gets attendees four beer tastings with four popcorn varieties specifically paired to each brew. The event will also feature raffles, prizes, food for purchase from Babcia's Lunchbox, and additional beer and popcorn for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit YSU's Student Affairs Leadership Support Association, an organization made up of graduate students who are studying student affairs/college counseling. They're the next generation of higher education staff and they appreciate your support of their professional development goals.
