Greater Youngstown Italian Fest, downtown Youngstown, Friday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday 1 to 11 p.m.; Sunday noon to 11 p.m. Attractions include more than four city blocks of entertainment, more than 40 Italian restaurants and food vendors, large tents for comfort and enjoyment, more than two dozen retail craft vendors, opening ceremonies, Man and Woman of the Year, Miss Italian Fest beauty pageant, Little King and Queen pageant sponsored by the Honda Store, a morra tournament, fest store for mementos, venetian auction basket tent, pasta eating contest sponsored by Crump’s Towing, homemade wine and beer contest sponsored by Rubano Moving Co., Polka Mass (Saturday), outdoor Mass with procession (Sunday) and a grand raffle at 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
