Trot into Avons Oaks and give thanks for live polka music with the award winning Frank Stanger Orchestra and the Grammy nominated Del Sinchak Band. Plus everyone will have a chance to win a 24 pound turkey for their holiday feast.
Frank Stanger and his band members are multiple award winners from the Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame in Euclid, Ohio. Their awards include the annual trophies for Band, Musician, Album, Song and Side Musicians of the Year.
Alternating with Frank Stanger is the area’s music legend Del Sinchak. Del and his band provide great traditional Cleveland-style polkas and waltzes plus a mix of ballads, country and Latin songs. Listeners and dancers will entertained for four hours with a non-stop variety of music.
Avon Oaks’ beautifully remodeled ballroom features a spacious wooden dance floor. Parking is free and food and beverages are available for the entire dance. No BYOB. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Contact Peppermint at 330-783-2222 for advance tickets.
