St. Patrick’s Church, 225 North Main St. in Hubbard, will have its 59th annual festival starting Aug. 3 to 6, featuring homemade food, including chicken and rib dinners, Fr. Mike’s famous steak hoagies, stuffed cabbage, fresh-cut fries, lemon shakes and more. There will be a basket raffle, and prizes include a 55” TV, Apple iPad Pro, Toro Lawn Mower, a drone, four double-hung windows installed and a recliner. The grand prize is $25,000 cash. Bingo will be played Friday through Sunday, and there will be hourly drawings for cash. The festival will have rides for the kids and a 5K Fun Run/Race on Saturday.
Nightly entertainment schedule starts on Thursday at 7 p.m. with the 2nd Avenue Project; Friday starts at 8 p.m. with the Hern Brothers Band; Saturday also starts at 8 p.m. with the House Band. County Mayo Irish Band plays from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and Guys Without Ties plays Sunday night from 7 to 11 p.m.
