Long Description: The Mahoning Valley Historical Society is hosting its monthly 140th anniversary open house at the Arms Family Museum from noon to 4 p.m. June 18. Visitors will receive buy one get one free admission sponsored by the Home Savings Charitable Foundation. Guests to the open house can test their knowledge of local history with a quiz game at 1 p.m. in the Carriage House. Lea Mollman, Museum Curator, will present “Are You Smarter than a Local Historian.” Participants watch a presentation on the history of the Mahoning Valley and then answer questions to win prizes for their team. 140th Anniversary open houses will be held the third Saturday of each month alternating between the Tyler History Center and the Arms Family Museum.
