Long Description: The Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s next installment of the free History to Go lecture series will be a tour of Snyder’s Antique Auto Collection in New Springfield at 1 p.m. July 23. Snyder’s Specialty Cars of New Springfield, Ohio, is owned and operated by the Snyder family, who also have Snyder’s Antique Auto Parts, founded in 1959. Snyder’s Antique Auto Parts is one of the world’s largest suppliers of 1909-1931 Ford reproduction parts. Snyder’s Specialty Cars features a large museum collection of antique and classic cars and trucks from all eras, rare factory lightweight drag racing cars from the “muscle car” era of the 1960s, and special built racing cars driven by famous and well-known drivers in drag racing and stock car racing circuits. The car collection museum is located at 13028 Woodworth Rd. (State Route 165), New Springfield, OH 44443, in a large building behind Steel Valley Restorations, Inc.
