Long Description:
Slice of the Valley Pizza Challenge will be 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at St. Demetrios Community Center, 3223 Atlantic St. N.E., Warren. Lots of food, fun and great auction items will pack the house for this exciting annual event. Area pizza shops will have slices to sample and two winners will be crowned: People’s Choice Award – selected by guests’ votes and the Judges’ Trophy – selected by celebrity judges sampling the pies.
Proceeds will go to the Rotary International project to help the victims of acid attacks in Africa and Project Play, a local collaborative effort to provide children a safe place to play and enjoy outdoor activities on the southwest side of Warren.
