Long Description: Evergreen Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7668 Glenwood Ave., is planning Great American Meatout Earth Day Weekend and Health Event. Speaker will be Melody Prettyman. At 6:30 p.m. April 22, there will be an introductory program on weight loss. At 11 a.m. April 23 during the worship service, the topic will be “Giving Up the World’s Job to Do the Lord’s Work” followed by a light lunch at 12:30 p.m. A Simple Home Remedies program will be at 2 p.m. An offering will be collected. On April 24, there will be a Great American Meatout dinner at 2:30 p.m. and health program from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. followed by door prize giveaway. Reservations are required by April 18 for the program; call 330-502-9355. Cost is $20 in advance of $25 at the door. Checks should be made payable to Boardman SDA Church.
