Long Description: The African Community Theatre at Kent State University presents the regional premier of "The Mountaintop" by Katori Hall. The Mountaintop is a fictional depiction of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s last night on earth set entirely in Room 306 of the Lorraine Motel on the eve of his assassination on April 4, 1968. The Mountaintop is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York. The African Community Theatre is located at 225 Terrace Drive, in Ritchie Hall, Room 230. Full-time undergraduate Kent State University students at the Kent Campus are admitted for free with proper ID. Kent State faculty and staff as well as Kent State Alumni Association members tickets are $15, and seniors (60+) are $13. Non-Kent State students with a valid ID are $10.
