Long Description: Kent State University’s 37th Annual Varsity “K” Athletics Hall of Fame Induction will be Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. Established in 1979, the Kent State Varsity “K” Athletics Hall of Fame honors men and women whose exceptional performance on the athletic fields and, in later years in other fields, merits special recognition from their alma mater. Hall of Fame members are permanently enshrined in the Varsity “K” Hall of Fame located on the second floor of the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. The induction ceremony is open to the public. 2015 Hall of Fame Inductees include Jess Bechard, Julian Edelman, Kim Hamilton, Kira Meixner, Jermail Porter, Brittney Robinson, Nick Saban and Tom Varner.
