The Mesopotamia Volunteer Firemen’s Association will host its 44th annual Ox Roast and antiques and flea market from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 30 and July 1 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 2. The event will be held at the intersection of state Route 534 and 87. Admission is free and there is free parking available at the fire station. The event includes 160 dealers and live entertainment, as well as food that includes roast beef sandwiches, fries and beverages. Special events will include a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. June 30 through July 2 hosted by the Bloomfield-Mespo Cheerleaders.
