Long Description: Hands-On History open houses this year will alternate between The Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., and the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St. Each week features a different local history theme. The program runs 2 to 4 p.m. every Wednesday through Aug. 12. There is no cost to participate in the activities, museum tours will be offered during the open houses at half-price admission. The July 1 theme is Happy Birthday America and will celebrate Independence Day by remembering the work and sacrifices of those who came before us.
