Long Description: Clay Handbuilding class: Basic and advanced hand building techniques with slabs, coils, and pinch pots will be covered. Additionally a variety of decorating, combining, and enhancement techniques will be covered for both wall and free-standing pieces. Classes 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, June 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Aug. 5, 12. Cost is $120 for the series of ten, or $12 per class. You do not have to attend all classes but you must be preregistered for the classes you attend, as there is a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 students per class. Supplies needed include: Self-hardening Clay, about $17.75 for a 25# bag; about $5 for low-fire clay; Basic Tool Set - about $10-$12. These are all readily available at any art supply store. Instructor can have a few sets on hand if he has advance payment.
