Long Description:
Light the Village Poland: 5 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5, at and around Poland Village Hall. Scheduled events include: 5:30, tree lighting at Peterson Park; 5:30 to 7, crafts; 6:15 to 6:45, songs and stories; and 5:30 to 7, half-price Friends of the Library book sale, all at Poland Library. At Village Hall, Santa arrives at 6; carols by the Holy Family Youth Choir, Poland Seminary Singers and PSHS Brass Band at the gazebo from 6 to 7; village hall tree lighting at 7; cookies and hot cocoa served, carriage rides courtesy of Rotary Club of Poland (reserve in advance), and music and carols also will be offered. Kravitz Deli in the Poland Library will be open and offer cookies and hot cider while supplies last; cookie decorating at Wittenauer’s Cafe from 5:30 to 6:30.
