Long Description: The Library 125th Anniversary Celebration will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 22. The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library is marking its 125th anniversary of library service and will host an event to celebrate with the community. An anniversary proclamation will take place at 11 a.m.Behind-the-scenes tours of the library will be offered at 11:30 a.m., noon, 12:30, 1:30, 2 and 2:30. The Bookmobile will be parked beside the library from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for onboard tours, too. A special Intro to Family History Research overview will be offered noon to 2 p.m. in the library’s Local History & Genealogy Center. Porgie the Balloon Guy will perform a magic show and make balloon animals at 1 p.m. for kids of all ages. Guests will be invited to see some of the things library officials will place in a Library Time Capsule. There will be scrapbooks of library memories, prize drawings, and refreshments.
